Course Description / Objective

This first component of the SIMATIC service course teaches the basic knowledge of the design of automation systems, the configuration and parameterization of the hardware, handling with the STEP 7 Basis Software and the fundamentals of programming.

You also get an overview of human machine interfacing, PROFIBUS DP and the integration of drives. You will reinforce your theoretical knowledge in numerous practical exercises on a TIA plant model. This consists of an S7-300 automation system, ET200S distributed I/O, TP 177B Touch Panel, Micromaster 420 drive and a conveyor model.

What you learn about Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) will teach you to take a holistic view of your plant and to understand the relationships between components. On completion of the course, you will thus be able to diagnose simple hardware faults or replace modules, to coordinate components optimally, carry out safe fault diagnostics and thus reduce downtimes.

- Hardware configuration and parameterization in the case of S7-300

- Reinforcement of the content through exercises on the device

- Introducing the TP177B Touch Panel

- Configuration and parameterization of PROFIBUS DP

- Backing up and documenting executed program changes

Registration Method

SITRAIN only accept training registeration by e-PASS. Please register our training courses thru e-PASS. Course Fee listed is excluding 7% GST

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> Within 2 weeks prior to start date of course / after confirmation is sent : 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation : 100% of order value

The Center reserves the right to reschedule a course in any event, and in such cases, course participants can choose to withdraw without penalty.

Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens.
