Course Description / Objective

The participants get to know the method of operation of SIRIUS Softstarters. They obtain an overview of the fields of application of these devices and will be able to configure SIRIUS Softstarters for drives. They will be able to recognize and rectify simple faults.

Course Content

- Physical bases of the ways of starting an asynchronous motor

- Explanation of the Sirius soft starter functions

- Introduction of the device range of SIRIUS Softstarter

- Engineering, selection and setting the devices using a PC program

- Commissioning and simple troubleshooting on the training devices

- Exercises to the parameter setting the Sirius soft starter functions over display and with PC tool "Soft starter ES Professonal" at devices of 3 RW44

- Demonstration and exercise of the PROFIBUS communication with a S7 project with devices 3 RW44

Registration Method

SITRAIN only accept training registeration by e-PASS. Please register our training courses thru e-PASS.

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
