Course Description / Objective
This course is intended for users who would like to set up an energy management system. In addition to general information about energy management, participants acquire the necessary knowledge about the various S7 blocks and their corresponding faceplates to be able to implement functions such as energy acquisition, load management, etc. Another focus is the creation of reports. After the course, you will be able to set up and install an energy management system at your company quickly and efficiently. You will gain an overview of your plant"s energy consumption and will be able to optimize it. The knowledge gained is deepened through numerous practical exercises.
Course Content
- Energy management basics (motivation, terminology, DIN EN 16001, EM process, etc.) - Installation and requirements - Functions of S7 blocks and interconnection in CFC - Operation of faceplates - Parameterization and functionality of load management - Parameterization and functionality of batch-based energy acquisition - Creation of manual and automatic reports (e.g. cost center reports) using report tool - Integration of switches and SENTRON PAC
