Course Description / Objective

This course is intended for users who would like to set up an energy management system. In addition to general information about energy management, participants acquire the necessary knowledge about the various S7 blocks and their corresponding faceplates to be able to implement functions such as energy acquisition, load management, etc. Another focus is the creation of reports.

After the course, you will be able to set up and install an energy management system at your company quickly and efficiently. You will gain an overview of your plant"s energy consumption and will be able to optimize it.

The knowledge gained is deepened through numerous practical exercises.

Course Content

- Energy management basics (motivation, terminology, DIN EN 16001, EM process, etc.)

- Installation and requirements

- Functions of S7 blocks and interconnection in CFC

- Operation of faceplates

- Parameterization and functionality of load management

- Parameterization and functionality of batch-based energy acquisition

- Creation of manual and automatic reports (e.g. cost center reports) using report tool

- Integration of switches and SENTRON PAC

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
