Course Description / Objective

The target group comprises of project managers and assistants, configuring engineers and users of PCS 7 configurations in batch processes. They gain knowledge about batch basics and the SIMATIC Batch interfaces to the automation systems and their administration.

Course Content

- Batch terminology, S88 terms, SIMATIC Batch relationship with respect to AS and OS

- Windows and BATCH Application Security

- Basic procedure for developing, planning and configuring a SIMATIC Batch project

- Procedural model, operate the Batch Control Center (BCC)

- Creating materials, assign codes and modify their properties

- Recipe editor and master recipe

- Production orders, batches chaining control of batch processing

- Operate the BACTH Control

- Operate the reports and archiving system

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
