Course Description / Objective

This course aims at users with enigineering tasks who want to become familiar with the expanded programming facilities of SIMATIC S7. You get an overview of human machine interfacing, PROFIBUS DP and the integration of drives.

Course Content

- Aids for program creation (e.g. structure program)

- Functions, function blocks and multi-instances (using the example of the IEC timers/counters)

- Jump commands and accumulator operations

- Indirect addressing

- Error handling with error organization blocks

- Evaluating diagnostics data

- Troubleshooting and messages with an HMI device (TP  177B)

- Analog value processing

Registration Method

SITRAIN only accept training registeration by e-PASS. Please register our training courses thru e-PASS. Course Fee listed is excluding 7% GST

3. Minimum class size is 8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum class size, the class will be re-scheduled.

4. Course registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. To be eligible for the Skills Future SG Funding of 70%, trainee will need to fulfil the following:

- Singapore Citizen, SPR, LTVP+ holder

- Minimum attendance of 75%

- Pass the Course Assessment

- Complete the Course Survey

The Company MAY BE eligible for additional funding under the Enhanced Training Support for SME or trainee MAY BE eligible for Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy. However, we can only confirm these additional fundings upon enrolment of trainees on the SSG portal with company UEN and trainee NRIC or FIN numbers.

And you agree and acknowledge that :

1. All participants listed above have not been disqualified from receiving funding from SkillsFuture Singapore Agency.
2. All participants listed above have not attended any previous run of the course.
3. All participants listed above shall attain at least 75% attendance rate for the course and shall take the assessment for the course until he/she passes
4. If any participant is allocated a slot in the course, upon the request of SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (or its representative), such participant and/or you (as employer of such participant) shall:
5. 1. provide information to SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (or its representatives) as SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (or its representatives) may reasonably request for the purposes of ascertaining if Siemens has complied with the training requirements of the applied course; and / or
   2. participate in such surveys as may be specified by SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (or its representatives) pertaining to any Course or Assessment.

6. Price

6.1 All invoices shall be payable within 30 days from the date of invoice. Any unnecessary delays to the receipts of funds and Siemens shall reserve the rights to suspend any deliveries or Services, among other rights according to Siemens General Conditions of SALES of Good and Services (including Software)

7.         Terms and Conditions

            Unless otherwise provided in this Offer, the attached SIEMENS General Condition of SALE of Goods & Services (including Software) version 2024 shall apply.

7.1       Full payment has to be made before the course commences.

7.2       Withdrawal is not permitted once registration is confirmed. However, a replacement may be acceptable, subject to approval by Siemens and/or SkillsFuture Singapore Agency.

7.3       All notice of withdrawal (if any) must be given in writing.

7.4       Subject to the discretion of Siemens and/or SkillsFuture Singapore Agency, the full fee (or at a minimum a pro-rata amount corresponding to the part of the course attended by the participant) may be charged for withdrawals after registration is confirmed, if the participant does not attend the course or does not complete the course.

7.5       In the event that the Course Fee Grant is not provided by SkillsFuture Singapore Agency for any of your participants (regardless of reason), Siemens shall be entitled (with the consent of SkillsFuture Singapore Agency) to invoice you for the Total Course Fee in respect of such participants attending the course.

7.6       Certificates will only be issued to participants who pass the assessment, attain at least 75% attendance rate, and has fully paid the Nett Course Fee to Siemens.

7.7       Siemens reserves the right to re-schedule and/or cancel a course in any event, and in such cases, course participant can choose to withdraw from the course.

7.8       Currency: All prices are in Singapore Dollars before GST

7.9       All forms of taxes and levies, including withholding tax, value added tax, Customs/excise tax, Goods and Services Tax imposed by local authorities in your country OR Singapore Government are not included in the above rates and they are to be borne by you.

8.         Binding Period

8.1       This Offer is valid for 30 days from Offer Date.

8.2       This Offer may be accepted only expressly, within its validity term. Should the acceptance of the offer be communicated after the expiry of the Offer’s validity term, we reserve the right to consider your confirmation as a counteroffer. The acceptance must be sent to the contact data provided in this Offer and shall be communicated by any communication mean with acknowledgment of receipt. The acceptance term shall start as of the date of issue of the Offer.

9.         Miscellaneous

9.1       The reproduction, transmission, or use of this document or its contents is not permitted without express written authority. Offenders will be liable for damages. All rights, including rights created by patent grant or registration of a utility model or design, are reserved.

9.2       Confidentiality clause. This Offer, its content, as well as any documentation or annexes sent together with it (the “Information”) are exclusively destined to your company and are strictly confidential and shall be used only for the agreed purposes. The disclosure of the information herein would severely prejudice the legal interests of Siemens concerning trade secrecy and intellectual property. The Parties shall keep the Information as confidential with respect to third parties and shall give to its employees or representatives access to the Information only on a need to know basis and under the same confidentiality obligation. Any breach of this confidentiality obligation shall make your company liable for the payment of damages. You are obliged, upon written notice from Siemens, to return all Information in your possession without retaining any copies thereof in any form whatsoever (including in the electronic format). All Information which cannot be returned shall be destroyed.

9.3       In case personal data or information are known or processed, both Parties undertake to take all technical and organizational measures in order to protect such data and fully comply with the applicable law on data privacy.

9.4       Siemens shall not be obligated to fulfill the object of the present Offer if such fulfillment is prevented by any impediments arising out of national or international foreign trade or customs requirements or any embargoes or other sanctions.

9.5    By accepting this proposal and/or issuing a Purchase Order in respect of this proposal, you unconditionally agree and/or acknowledge the above for yourself and for and on behalf of the participants. In the event that you and/or any participant is unable to confirm or comply with the above criteria, such participant(s) shall not be eligible to apply for the Course Fee Grant from SkillsFuture Singapore Agency for this course. Any false confirmations or any failure to comply with the above criteria, may result in termination of the course application and any cost incurred or loss suffered by Siemens as a result shall be borne by you.
