Course Description / Objective

Course objectives The course teaches the essential fundamental knowledge of Industrial Ethernet protocols and services. You will learn how to handle the currently available tools for startup, service, testing, and diagnostics. Learn about the different ways of setting up Industrial Ethernet networks from Siemens, the market leader for automation systems!

You will consolidate your theoretical knowledge with numerous practical exercises on the equipment. On completion of this practice-oriented course, you will be able to install and optimize an Industrial Ethernet network, and you will learn step-by-step how you can limit and correct faults quickly.

- Basic installation guidelines

- Connections

- TCP/IP transport protocols

- Elementary TCP/IP diagnostics

- Configuring of ISO and TCP connections

- S7 connections via Industrial Ethernet

- Programming of the SEND/RECEIVE interface

- SIMATIC S7 diagnostics tools (NCM diagnostics tool)

- Introduction to OPC

- Overview of PROFINET IO

Registration Method

Registration method SITRAIN only accept training registeration by e-PASS. Please register our training courses thru e-PASS. Course Fee listed is excluding 7% GST

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
