Course Description / Objective

Learn about the future-oriented PROFINET as the open Industrial Ethernet standard for automation from Siemens as a member of PROFIBUS International (PI).

Using SIMATIC NET components, you will learn how to parameterize, start up and troubleshoot a PROFINET network quickly and effectively. You will become familiar with Component Based Automation from PROFINET through SIMATIC iMap, and you will thus be able to optimally structure your user program and be more flexible in design.

Numerous practical exercises reinforce the theoretical knowledge acquired.

- Component technology in automatiion (XML file, CBA)

- Graphical configuring instead of costly programming of communication between intelligent devices

- Cross-vendor, plant-wide engineering & diagnostics with the SIMATIC iMap engineering tool

- Integration of conventional DP systems via PROFINET devices with proxy functionality

- Accessing data in PROFINET devices with PROFINET OPC servers

- Fundamentals of PROFINET IO with configuring and programming, as well as fundamentals of PROFINET RT&IRT

- Installation guidelines for PROFINET IO / CBA networks

- Extensive practical examples with exercises

Registration Method

SITRAIN only accept training registeration by e-PASS. Please register our training courses thru e-PASS. Course Fee listed is excluding 7% GST

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
