Course Description / Objective

Quick start for using TIA Portal for PLC & HMI programming, and integrate basic motion control (speed and position)

Course Content

Day 1 : PLC programming

• Introduction to SIMATIC S7-1200
• Introduction to TIA Portal and SIMATIC Step 7 Basic
• Development procedure and configuration
• Basic programming I (Bits operant)
• Basic programming II (Words operant and Analog signal)
• PLC concept and Programming concept
• Technical note

Day 2 : HMI programming

• Introduction to SIMATIC HMI Panel
• Introduction to SIMATIC WinCC Comfort/Basic
• Development procedure and HMI setting
• Using HMI wizard
• Create basic objects
• Create basic element (Bits / Words)
• Create basic alarm
• Create web browser
• Technical note

 Day 3 : Integrated motion (speed and position control)

• Position control SINAMICS V90 using pulse train
  • Commissioning SINAMICS V90 (Servo system)
  • Using technology object
• Speed control SINAMICS V20 using USS protocol (RS485)
  • Setting SINAMICS V20
  • Using communication library
• Speed control SINAMICS G120C using PROFINET (Industrial Ethernet)
  • Commissioning SINAMICS G120C
  • Using communication library (PROFIDrive)

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
