Target Group

This course is for advanced PLC users with engineering experience in the design and configuration of automation systems and their application programs. The student must be able to understand advance programming topics.

Course Description / Objective

Objectives. 

- Implement Structured Programming in a given task

- Employ status bit-dependent commands, accumulator operations and extended floating-point arithmetic

- Understand and apply functions and function blocks with “reusability” and multi-instantiation.

- Employ indirect addressing in a program

- Develop a simple program for data communication between the PLC and the VFD

- Incorporate system functions (SFC) in a program

- Use most important interrupt and error organization blocks

- Enter user messages in the diagnostic buffer

- Configure event and alarm messages and download it to the Touch Panel

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
