Course Description / Objective

The course is aimed at personnel whose activities focus on the service and maintenance of plants with PCS7 control systems. The emphasis here is on the process-level components AS, I/O systems and system bus.

The handling skills required in day-to-day practice for diagnosing and correcting faults are practiced on training equipment and in typical projects.

Equipped with the knowledge of the integrated nature of the system, you will be able on completion of the course to quickly diagnose and correct faults and to remove possible fault sources in advance. This enables you to reduce standstill times and increase the efficiency of your automation system.

Course Content

- Understand PCS7 hardware & software.

- Realise a typical project.

- Program using STEP7 editors like CFC charts.

- Understand and use SFC.

- HMI functionality.

- Understand the concept of multiproject.

- S7 Diagnostic Aids.

Course Fee listed is excluding 6% GST.

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
