Course Description / Objective

Building on the SIMATIC Service fundamentals, the focus here is on the use of STEP7 system functions as well as fault correction with STARTER software and WinCC flexible. You also start up PROFINET IO.

You will reinforce your theoretical knowledge through numerous practical exercises on a SIMATIC plant model. This comprises an S7-300 automation system, ET200S distributed I/O, TP 177B Touch Panel, Micromaster 420 drive and a conveyor model.

What you learn about the integrated factory automation will teach you to take a holistic view of your plant and to understand the relationship between the individual components. On completion of thecourse, you will be able to safely diagnose and correct complex faults. The comprehensive understanding gained gives you new impetus and ideas for production optimization.

- Starting up a program for an assembly line

- Integrating FCs and FBs

- Possible applications of error organization blocks

- Supplementing and analyzing diagnostics messages

- Software troubleshooting

- Starting up distributed I/O

- Diagnosing faults on PROFIBUS DP

- Diagnostics facilities with the "Starter" software

- Starting up a project with WinCC flexible

- Diagnostics facilities with WinCC flexible

- Use of PROFINET IO with SIMATIC S7

Registration Method

SITRAIN only accept training registration by e-PASS.  Course Fee listed is excluding 6% GST

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
