Course Description / Objective

To experience real industrial machine production job. 

Participants should complete a CNC machine controller retrofitting task, where an old machine should be rebuilt by replacing the control system to new version, replacing servo system, re-wired electrical cabinet, and assembly of mechanical accessories.

Course Content

Day 1

- Introduction to CNC machine control system

- Familiar with mechanical design and components of machine body

- Understanding of schematic and wiring diagram

- Familiar with required tools and equipment to be used

- Removal of old parts and prepare new panel for retrofitting

Day 2

- Electrical Cabinet wiring

Day 3

- Electrical Cabinet wiring

Day 4

- Mechanical part assembly

- Controller setup, wiring and assembly

Day 5

- Controller parameter loading and tuning

- Accuracy and function check

- Report and quality control

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
