Target Group

This course is intended for : technicians, engineers or maintenance personnel who maintain a SIMOVERT Master Drives System.

Course Description / Objective

- Able to start up the converter. 

-  Able to carry out the commissioning of drives fed by converters of the Series Master Drives, and Diagnose faults to board level. 

- Able to record the parameters.

Course Content

- Discussion of the modular concept of the series Master Drives (basic units, options).

- Commissioning of a unit with discussion of special functions (setting of the parameters, optimization).

- Module CUVC/Vector Control (frequency, speed, torque control).

- Supplementary functions (automatic restart / generator buffering / restart on the fly / DC braking).

- Modules CBP (Profibus communication to PLC).

- Drive Monitor (operation, programming, data transfer via PC).

- Diagnosis, fault finding and fault localization.

Registration Method

SITRAIN only accept training registration by e-PASS.

Note

The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

- Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

- Full payment has to be made before commencement of the course.

- If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :

> After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value

> Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed

If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
