Course Description / Objective

1. Know the components parts and the principle of operation of a SIMATIC S7  programmable controller and the rules governing handling of the hardware and basic programming of a SIMATIC S7.
2. Be able to use STEP 7 tools for documenting and testing the programs.

3. Be able to start up the converter.

    4.   Be able to adapt the parameters to the requirements of the drive.

    5.   Be able to record the parameters.

    6.   Diagnose faults, alarms and solve problems.

Course Content

1. Familiarization with the performance with the performance characteristic of PLC and programming devices.
2. Configuring the CPU and the I/O modules by Hardware Configuration.
3. Ability to structure, generate, document and put into operation simple PLC program with SIMATIC S7.
4. Be acquainted with structure and execution of programs in SIMATIC S7 programmable controllers.
5. Ability to use the STEP 7 tools for generating, documenting, use absolute / symbolic addressing and testing the programs.

6. Design of the drive system and overview of documentation and service.

    7.   Start up and parameterization with the STARTER commissioning tool.

    8.   Structure of the function diagrams.

    9.   Startup of the integral basic positioner (EPOS)

   10.  Diagnostics and troubleshooting.

   1. Training registration should be received at latest 3 (three) weeks before temporary schedule or later. Please contact us for the possibility if the registration is submitted after the dateline.
   2. 100 % Payment In advance.
   3. Training fee should be paid prior to commencement date. Payment can be made by transfer to following bank accounts: PT Siemens Indonesia, Deutsche Bank, Jl. Imam Bonjol, Jakarta Pusat; A/C: 000-3467-00.2
   4. We provide training manual, stationary, coffee break, and lunch during training.
   5. Minimum number of participant is 5 (five) persons. If the participants for training in Siemens Jakarta are less than minimum participant, the training will be conducted with participants from another company.
   6. Course registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

   9. When canceling orders the following cancellation fees apply:
      • Within 3 weeks prior to the start date of the course, cancellation fees amount to 20% of the order value
      • Within 2 weeks prior to the start date of the course, cancellation fees amount to 50% of the order value
      • Within 1 week prior to the start date of the course, cancellation fees amount to 100% of the order value
   10. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee paid to Siemens
   11. The Center reserves the right to reschedule a course in any event, and in such cases, course participants can choose to withdraw without penalty.
