Target Group

This course is intended for: personnel of customers who will be commissioning, servicing, and maintaining the SINAMICS S120 / SINAMICS G120 series.

Course Description / Objective

1. Be able to start up the converter.
2. Be able to adapt the parameters to the requirements of the drive.
3. Be able to record the parameters.
4. Diagnose faults, alarms and solve problems.

Course Content

1. Design of the drive system and overview of documentation and service.
2. Start up and parameterization with the STARTER commissioning tool.
3. Structure of the function diagrams.
4. Diagnostics and troubleshooting.
5. Software function, closed-loop control and optimization of Servo and Vector drives.
6. Startup of the integral basic positioner (EPOS)
7. Practical exercise on the Training Kit.

   Note

   The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

   - If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :
   
   > After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value
   
   > Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed
   
   If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
