Target Group

This course is aimed at planning design, application and service engineers who work on ETHERNET and

PROFIBUS Network communication between PLC S7 with CP343/ CP443.

Course Description / Objective

• Be familiar with design and structure of the ETHERNET/ PROFIBUS network and system.

• Be able to connect different automation equipment to the ETHERNET/PROFIBUS network.

• Be able to parameterize using S7-NETPRO and the CP343 / CP443 module and program a PLC-PLC

connection using TCP/IP and FDL or FMS mode.

• Be able to use the test and diagnostic functions for ETHERNET / PROFIBUS Network.

Course Content

• Using the S7-NETPRO for ETHERNET / PROFIBUS Application to parameterize the TCP/IP and FDL / FMS

connections.

• The data transfer between CPU and CP343 / CP443 via the programming of Send–Receive block and Load

/ Transfer commands.

• The Test and diagnostics function to analyze the ETHERNET and PROFIBUS Communication.

• Operation of Integrated DP master of the CPU S7 300/400 series.

• The data transfer between CPU and I/O modules or Field Devices on the slaves.

• Application of PROFIBUS-DP for various ET200 series and Field Devices such as SIMOREG, SIMOVERT,

Siemens OP/TP, PG/PC etc.

• The Test and diagnostics function to analyze the Profibus-DP Communication

   The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

   > After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value
   
   > Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed
   
   If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
