Course Description / Objective

As a user of the Process Control System SIMATIC PCS7, the participant learns how to apply the engineering

features in a structured and efficient way. Supported by examples and exercises, the process automation of a

plant is realized up to the HMI level. Covered are aspects of SIMATIC PCS7, such as its system wide

consistency, plant oriented, data and project management and the co-operation between the various components

and tools.

Course Content

• System overview and architecture : subsystems for automation, operation, communication and engineering.

• Configuring concept : from the field level up to the HMI level with integrated WinCC system.

• Network and hardware configuration.

• Process Object View as a plant based structure of the project.

• Standardizing by library and block concept, Process tag types, Model.

• Automation solutions by graphical configuration with CFC and SFC.

• Monitoring and controlling.

• Distributed engineering (Multi Project).

   The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

   - If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :
   
   > After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value
   
   > Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed
   
   If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
