Course Description / Objective

1. Understand the program structure of the high performance SIMATIC S7 controller and know all of the functions of STEP 7.
2. Be able to use STEP 7 tools for Diagnostic & Troubleshooting of Faults on the PLC system.
3. Be able to program and using configurable blocks, to use analog processing, extended instructions, extended function of symbolic programming, interrupt processing and communication links via PROFIBUS and PROFINET interface.

Course Content

1. Handling Data types, data storage and data archiving.
2. Using the STEP 7 tools for configuring and parameterize the CPU and the modules.
3. Using STEP 7 tools for Diagnostic & Troubleshooting of Faults on the PLC system
4. Handling analog modules and the processing of analog values.
5. Programming and using configurable blocks and employing conversion, arithmetic, shift and jump instructions.
6. Be able to use extended functions for symbolic programming and interrupt-controlled program execution.
7. Configuring and implementing the homogeneous communication links via PROFIBUS and PROFINET interface.

   The minimum participants for per class is 6/8 paxs. If the course registration participants do not meet the minimum no of paxs, the class will be re-scheduled.

   - If participant cancels the course after receiving the official course confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply :
   
   > After confirmation is sent: 100% of order value
   
   > Non Attendance after receiving an official course confirmation, no-show fee of 100% of the course fee will be imposed
   
   If Siemens cancels a Training without offering a replacement, Siemens will provide full refund. If Siemens postpones a Training, the postponement is deemed accepted unless participant cancels the Training within 3 days of receiving the notice; in case of cancellation, Siemens will provide a full refund. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 75% attendance and course fee fully paid to Siemens. Please choose mode of payment when you register your course.
